What are Waveblocks?

Waveblock NFTs

Waveblocks blends ideas from traditional and generative art (painting and computing). Waveblocks explore the simple arc. Everything in a waveblock is based on arcs including the color schemes. Waveblocks can be explained through a step-by-step animation. Waveblocks are the first NFTs to have responsive resolutions, meaning more details are gradually filled in as the resolution increases.

These generative works of art are stored immutably on the Ethereum Blockchain as an ERC721 compliant NFT "non-fungible" token. Each waveblock is a randomly generated version created by our wave algorithm and sent to your Ethereum account. Each output is different and there are endless possibilities for the types of waves that can occur.

Responsive Resolution

More detail is filled in as resolution increases. Waveblock NFT holders can download their waveblock at a variety of resolutions to fit their needs.

Based on pts.js

Pts is lightweight and modular. Written in typescript, it comes with many useful algorithms for visualization and creative coding.
